I have two ContactZapp accounts
Why signing in with a different email can show different contacts, and what you can and can't do about it.
You signed in with a different email address and now you see different contacts, as if you had two ContactZapp accounts. This can happen, and your contacts aren't lost.
What happened
Your ContactZapp account has one billing identity, the email address your billing is under. Each Google or Microsoft account you connect also becomes a way to sign in, for as long as it stays connected. Whichever one you use, you open the same account with the same contacts.
If you unlink one of those accounts, it stops being a way to sign in. If you later sign in with it anyway, ContactZapp may start a new, separate account for that address. The new account has none of your contacts. The two accounts don't share contacts and don't sync with each other.
Steps
- Sign out. Then sign in with your billing identity. See Sign in to ContactZapp.
- Open your account menu and tap Settings. Then tap Accounts. The Sign-in identities card lists every way you can sign in, and marks your billing identity. See Manage your sign-in identities.
- From there, connect other accounts as you did before. See Add another account.
What you can't do
- You can't merge the two accounts yourself. There is no button that moves contacts from one ContactZapp account to the other.
- You can't change your billing identity in ContactZapp. It follows the billing email in the billing portal. See Manage or cancel your subscription.
- You can't remove your billing identity. It always stays.
If something goes wrong
- Your contacts are gone. They are still in your original account. Sign in with your billing identity to see them.
- You want the two accounts brought together. Contact support and give both email addresses. In Settings › Plan & billing, the User ID of each account helps us find it.
- Your address books. Your contacts in Google, Microsoft, iCloud or your CardDAV server aren't changed by any of this.

Your ContactZapp account belongs to the email you signed up with. That is your billing sign-in. Each Google or Microsoft account you connect also lets you sign in, for as long as it stays connected, and you see the same contacts whichever one you use.
If you unlink an account and later sign in with it, we start a new, separate ContactZapp account for that email. The two accounts don't share contacts and don't sync with each other.
To bring them back together, contact us and tell us both email addresses. We'll take it from there.
