Rate limits
You can make 60 requests a minute. Past that, we ask you to slow down.
The limit
The limit is 60 requests in any minute. It counts all your keys together, so 2 tools that use 2 keys share the same 60. It is the same on every plan.
GET /api/v1/openapi.json needs no key and doesn’t count.
When you reach it
We answer 429 with the code rate_limited and a Retry-After header. The header is the number of seconds to wait before the next request is served. Nothing is written by a request we turn away.
HTTP/2 429
Retry-After: 12
Content-Type: application/json
{ "code": "rate_limited", "message": "…" }Wait for the number of seconds in Retry-After, then send the same request again. If you sent a write, send it with the same Idempotency-Key.
Stay under it
- Poll every 5 minutes or less often. A trigger is one request each time you poll. 5 triggers polled every 5 minutes use 1 request a minute.
- Use filters.
GET /api/v1/contacts?email=…returns the contacts you need, so you don’t page through all of them. - Read each trigger item once. Each item already carries the contact’s fields, so you don’t need a second call to read it.
